Story of Donkey and Cow- A laughter story
A farmer had a donkey and a cow. Donkeys were used for transportation and for farming with cows and threshing wheat and paddy.
After
working every day from morning till evening, when the cow returns home, one day
it gets tired and mutters alone. Seeing the cow muttering, the donkey said,
Donkey:
What happened? Are you mumbling
Cow:
Do you understand our grief? No one understands our sorrow, no one understands.
Donkey:
I don't understand why you're doing so.
Cow:
You're not used to anything other than what you're doing. But I have to work
hard to cultivate the land, thresh the crops, pull the mill, and so on. I can't
sleep all night after work because of pain. Is it so hard?
The
donkey's heart trembled when he heard the cow's words. He came up with an idea
to save the cow from suffering. Then he addressed the cow and said:
Donkey:
If you want, I can give you an idea so you don't have to go to the field
anymore.
Cow:
No, I don't think you'll do anything like that. No, my danger will only
increase if you continue according to your intelligence.
Donkey:
Listen, dear! We are not as stupid as people think we are. And that is why no
one can force us to plow. Once you follow what I say, you will be as happy as I
am.
Cow:
Okay, let's see, what do you think?
The
donkey then advises the cow to pretend to be sick. To save himself, the cow
straightened her arms and legs, lay down in the house, and began to make loud
noises. The farmer tried to pick him up but failed. Then he was forced to think
of another way out of the house.
After
the farmer left, the cow thanked the donkey. Thanksgiving is upon us, which
means the holiday season is in full swing. But the donkey's happiness did not
last long. After a while, the farmer returned home and took the donkey to the
field instead of the cow. After plowing the land continuously from morning till
noon, the farmer sat in the shade of a tree for a while. At that moment, the
donkey began to think:
Donkey:
I was in danger of saving the cow! I'm really a fool. If not, who is such a
fool?
After
thinking about all this, the donkey started thinking of saving himself.
Suddenly he decided to apply the advice given to the cow. Accordingly, the
donkey lay down on the ground and started screaming to make the wind heavier.
Hearing
the shout, the farmer approached the donkey. Then he tried to lift her off the
ground. But could not. Then the farmer starts beating the donkey with his
stick. During the beating, the farmer said:
Farmer:
What a fool! As it turns out, the cows are sick. Even after knowing so much,
you have started laziness! There is no benefit in your milk, even then I
thought I would feed you sitting down? If you don't work today, I will kill
you.
The
donkey saw the situation as dangerous. So it went straight. At first, he was
annoyed and slowly began to pay attention. As he worked, the donkey muttered,
"Anyway, tonight the cow must be plowed so that it can go to the field
tomorrow morning."
Anyway,
after working till evening, the donkey returned home. Back home he went
straight to the barn. Seeing the donkey, the cow sat still. Then he said:
Cow:
Did you come back from the field? Now you must have seen, we have to work hard!
Donkey:
No no, not difficult at all. I think this is a very comfortable and
straightforward job. But in another case, I was very upset. If I say so, you
too will be afraid.
Cow:
Is there anything harder than plow farming? He said openly, I will not get in
trouble.
Donkey:
This afternoon while I was working in the field, the owner was telling a friend
that my cow had suddenly fallen ill. I don't think he will survive. So I
decided to sell my cow.
Hearing
this, the cow began to tremble with fear. Then he stood up straight and said,
Cow:
You're right! If so, I need to start work tomorrow. I was so foolish to take
your advice as you, danger came upon me. I will never listen to you again.
Donkey:
I didn't get less punishment in your mind. I went for your benefit and you are
blaming me!
Thus
the night passed by quarreling. The next morning the farmer came and pushed the
cow and he jumped. Then he went to the field with the cows and donkeys. As he
was leaving, the farmer called his son and said:
Farmer:
You bring another plow yoke. Donkeys will be used to plow with cows from today!
And listen, if the donkey sniffs again, bring another hard stick for him.
